How to Choose Wall Cladding System?
When choose the wall cladding system, we shoud consider the following aspects:
1. Insulation Performance
Insulation performance of the wall cladding system depends on the raw materials of the insulation layer. Generally speaking, the insulation performance of organic insulation materials(such as EPS, XPS, PU and phenolic resin foam) is better than the inorganic materials( such as rock wool, glass wool, perlite and foam cement).
2. Fire-protection rating
As the decorative insulated wall cladding system covering the whole buildings, if its raw material is not fireproof, fire will be easy to spread through the building and bring serious dangerous to people. So we need to choose the wall cladding system with higher fireproof performance.
The fire-protection rating of the wall cladding system depends on the flammability of the insulation material. There are two main fire-protection ratings, namely, Grade A and Grade B. Grade A refers the highest fire-protection rating.
Insulation material of Grade A: Rock wool panel, foamed ceramic panel, foam cement panel, glass foam panel, polyurethane(PU) sandwich panel, sandwich boards, STP, perlite plate, thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar.
Insulation material of Grade B: EPS, XPS, hard foam pu cladding system and phenolic aldehyde panel.
Among them, PU wall cladding system and phenolic aldehyde wall cladding system have better insulation performance and the fire-protection performance and are widely applied at present.
3. Service life
The service life of wall cladding system is usually between 20-30 years.
4. Installation Service
In addition to the quality of the panels, the installation ability of the construction team shall be paid more attention to. Professional installation of the wall cladding systems will prolong the service life of the products and save the maintenance cost in the future.
